H.H. Prince Mansour bin Saad bin Farhan Al Saud, Assistant Secretary General of the King Faisal Foundation, underscored the importance of strategic discipline and robust human capital as organizations navigate emerging financial challenges and rising expectations during his participation in the Beyond Profit Forum 2025.

Speaking at the session “When Belts Buckle, States Retreat: A Moment of Choice and Innovation for New Philanthropy,” held at the forum, His Highness asserted that nonprofit organizations should not be viewed as loss-making entities. He pointed to international examples demonstrating that nonprofits can be profitable, sustainable, and competitive, with some global models achieving performance levels that surpass their private-sector equivalents.

The session convened global leaders to discuss key choices for the sector from adapting to the global realignments to reinventing financing models such as impact-linked finance, blended capital, and corporate-NPO collaboration in this pivotal moment of sector-wide change.

The Beyond Profit Forum 2025, held December 3–4, 2025, in Riyadh, brought together over 80 speakers and 1,500 global participants. Organized by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, the forum explored financing strategies, social entrepreneurship, and development case studies while fostering strategic partnerships to advance the nonprofit sector’s global impact.
