Since King Faisal Foundation’s establishment, we have been committed to empowering students at every stage of their educational journey—from elementary school to post-doctoral research.

With over 150 million Saudi Riyals invested, our scholarships have helped hundreds of students worldwide achieve their dreams across diverse fields of study. Whether students are taking their first steps into higher education or pursuing advanced research, KFF supports ambitions applicants and creates brighter future for them and their communities.

The Foundation is currently focusing on supporting studies within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is not offering any international scholarships. To pursue the Foundation’s vision in education and human development, we are providing several scholarships annually for students studying at our institutions: Alfaisal University, King Faisal School, and Effat University. These institutions assess submitted applications and scholarships are awarded on merit- and need-based eligibility criteria.

Eligibility & Application

Scholarships at Effat University and King Faisal School are based on criteria set by each institution.
Scholarships at Alfaisal University are limited and highly competitive, and are offered on exceptional basis. Please check the Foundation’s official social media accounts for future announcements.

King Faisal School Scholarships

The scholarship application link/form is announced on the school’s official X account between April and May of each year. Awarded scholarships to King Faisal School are announced on the school's official social media accounts during the second semester of each academic year. Alfaisal University Scholarships

King Faisal Foundation receives applications on exceptional basis for its Alfaisal University scholarships each year around May/June. Students who meet the competitive eligibility criteria will be considered and informed of the outcome, with a committee from the Foundation announcing the results. Students already receiving a scholarship will continue to receive support as long as they maintain the required cumulative GPA.

Effat University Scholarships

As part of its ongoing support for education and human development, King Faisal Foundation offers dozens of scholarships annually to students pursuing their education in the institutions operating under its umbrella: Alfaisal University, Effat University and King Faisal School. These institutions receive applications and make decisions on them based on set admission and scholarship criteria. The Foundation no longer offers scholarships to study outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
